Applications are now open for the Knight Hennessy Scholarship 2025 cohort. This fully funded scholarship at Stanford University supports graduate degree programs. This prestigious scholarship covers all expenses, making it one of the best opportunities to study in the United States.
The Knight Hennessy Scholarship has no age, academic field, or nationality restrictions. To be eligible, applicants must first apply and be accepted into a full-time Stanford graduate degree program, including JD, MA, MBA, MD, MFA, MS, DMA, and PhD programs. Scholars receive up to three years of funding. U.S. nationals are also eligible to apply. Detailed information about the scholarship requirements and application process is provided below.
Number of Scholarships
Up to 100 future global leaders will be Knight-Hennessy scholars for the 2025 cohort. Stanford University, located in Stanford, California, is a private research university.
Scholarship Benefits
- Grant for three years.
- Stipend to cover living expenses.

- Education stipend covering room and board, books, academic supplies, instructional materials, local transport costs, and reasonable personal expenses.

Eligibility Criteria
- Open to applicants from any country.

- Must meet the specific requirements of the graduate program.
- Must have earned a bachelor’s degree in January 2018 or later.
- Provide proof of English language proficiency.
- No minimum grade or score requirements.
- No application fee for Knight-Hennessy Scholars, but any fees required by the graduate program must be paid when submitting that application.

KHS Application Requirements
- Online Application: Complete and submit the online application.
- Resume: One-page resume highlighting your experiences, interests, and academic record.
- Transcripts & Test Scores: Scanned copies of your previous academic records.
- Recommendation Letters: Provide two letters.
- Short Answers & Essay: Share in your own words what you have done, who you are, and what you aspire to do in the future.

Applicants must submit a full application with the required documents before the application deadline. The last date to apply for the KHS 2025 is 9th October 2024. Applicants must gain acceptance into a full-time graduate degree program before applying for the KHS.
