GIST University Scholarship is now accepting applications for the Spring 2025 intake. This fully funded scholarship is open to international students for Master’s, Ph.D., and Integrated M.S./Ph.D. programs. GIST, located in Gwangju, South Korea, offers various degree programs and does not charge an application fee—unlike many South Korean universities such as KAIST and UST. All international students applying are automatically considered for the GIST Scholarship, which covers tuition fees, accommodation, meals, monthly stipends, health insurance, and flight tickets. English Language Proficiency Exemption
All courses are conducted in English. Applicants can apply without an English language test score, but successful applicants must submit their scores later. Graduates from English-speaking countries (Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the UK, USA) can apply without test scores. Other applicants must submit TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, or TEPS scores.
