he main objective of Ekiti State Scholarship and Bursary Awards is in attempt to relieve students the burden off their back as they continue to pursue their dreams of acquiring an education beyond the primary level. Types of Awards
- Scholarships: Available for undergraduates, polytechnic students, master’s degree candidates, and Ph.D. students.
- Bursaries: Open to all undergraduate students, including those from polytechnics, colleges of education, nursing/midwifery schools, and health technology colleges.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the scholarships and bursaries, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Undergraduate and Polytechnic Scholarships
- Year of Study: Must be in the 2nd year or above.
- Academic Requirements: Must have WASSCE/NECO results with a minimum of five credits, including English Language and Mathematics.
- CGPA: Must have a minimum CGPA of 4.0 at the university or equivalent institution.
Master’s Degree and Ph.D. Scholarships
- Undergraduate Performance: Applicants must have achieved a minimum of a 2nd Class Upper Division in their undergraduate studies.
Bursaries
- Eligibility: Open to all students in undergraduate programs, polytechnics, colleges of education, nursing/midwifery schools, and health technology colleges.
Application Process
- Accessing the Application Form: As for the scholarship and bursary forms interested individuals can obtain these online. Visit the Ekiti State Scholarship Board’s website.
- Completing the Application: Make sure that every part of the application form is filled appropriately. Ensure that all the documents and information as required in the application are provided as per the guidelines of the form.
