The ITH in Salzburg, Austria, in collaboration with the Austrian Development Cooperation, offers approximately 30 scholarships to applicants from priority and other developing countries. The Tourism School in Salzburg has a renowned international reputation and tradition, focusing on training future entrepreneurs and employees to meet the needs of the global tourism and leisure industry.
The scholarships are for postgraduate studies, and eligibility criteria include being between 18-35 years old, possessing a high school diploma, having a minimum of one year’s experience in the tourism and hospitality industry, and demonstrating proficiency in English for non-native speakers. - Accommodation: Students awarded this scholarship must bear the accommodation costs, amounting to €247 per month (€1,976 in total). The full accommodation fee of €1,976 must be paid in advance before the admission letter is issued.
- Flight ticket: Scholarship recipients are responsible for their travel expenses from their home countries to Salzburg and back.
- Visa fee: Applicants need to cover the visa fees, which are approximately $110 for the entry visa and around €120 for the 8-month residence permit issued in Salzburg.

- Complete the application form.
- Submit your application directly to the Institute via post.
- The submission deadline is March 31, 2024 (applications must be received by the ITH office no later than this date).
- You will receive an email confirmation upon the receipt of your application.
- In May 2024, you will be notified about the outcome of your application. If awarded a scholarship, you will receive a letter of acceptance.
